1. What types of photography sessions do you offer?
We offer a variety of lifestyle photography sessions including family, maternity, newborn (in-home or out!), engagement, senior portraits, and professional headshots. Whether you're celebrating a new addition, marking a milestone, or simply want to capture this season of life, we’re here to preserve those memories with intention and heart.

2. How far in advance should I book my session?
We recommend booking your session at least 4–6 weeks in advance, especially during busy seasons like spring and fall. For maternity sessions, the ideal time is between 28–34 weeks, and senior portraits are best scheduled in early spring or early fall. Weekend dates tend to book up quickly, so reach out early if you need a specific timeframe.

3. Where do sessions take place?
Sessions are typically held outdoors at beautiful local parks, gardens, or scenic spots around St. Louis and the surrounding area. We’re happy to suggest locations that suit your vision and vibe. Professional headshots can be done outdoors, in your workspace, or at another agreed-upon location.

4. What should we wear to our session?
We always recommend wearing neutral or soft tones, coordinating rather than matching, and choosing comfortable outfits that reflect your personality. Avoid loud logos or overly busy patterns. Once you book, we’ll send a detailed style guide with tips and inspiration to help you feel confident and camera-ready.

5. How long does a typical session last?
Most sessions last around 1 hour. Newborn sessions may take a bit longer to allow for feeding, soothing, and breaks as needed. Mini sessions, when offered, are usually 15–20 minutes and perfect for quick seasonal updates.

6. Do you help with posing or will it feel awkward?
Absolutely! Most of our clients aren’t models—and that’s the beauty of it. We’ll gently guide you into flattering poses while keeping the session fun and relaxed. Our goal is to capture natural interactions and genuine moments, not stiff smiles.

7. What happens if the weather is bad?
If we’re planning an outdoor session and the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll reschedule for the next available date that works for both of us. We’ll keep an eye on the forecast and make a decision about 24 hours before the session.

8. How and when will we receive our photos?
You’ll receive a fully edited online gallery within 2–3 weeks of your session. From there, you can download your high-resolution images and order prints directly from the gallery if you’d like. We also offer keepsake albums and print packages upon request.

9. Can I order prints or albums through you?
Yes! We offer professional-quality prints, wall art, and custom heirloom albums that you can easily order directly from your gallery. We’re also happy to walk you through options if you’re looking for something specific.

10. Do you offer mini sessions?
Yes, we offer seasonal mini sessions a few times a year—typically in the spring and fall, and sometimes around the holidays. Mini sessions are a great way to update your family photos quickly and affordably. Be sure to follow us on Instagram to be the first to know when they’re released!
